This is a good training app.
This is a good training app.
To many sound issues. Notes are also different volumes so its actually a mess to use. Also, its missing a few simple features. Come back to it after a few versions.
from many similar apps this is the best!!!
Ok, Im ready to pay money for this app, but can u tell me, will all graphics issues fixed, if Ill pay?
Too much advertisements. Please fix the randomized-its stupid that I may get stuck between same two notes while other notes may not be proposed for too long.
Its really helpful to remember every note on fretboard!
This is good app! I enjoy it. It is good for learning and reminds you to practice! Very good app in my opinion!!
I understand developers want/need you to buy their product by placing adds in the free version of the program but when you slam full screen, LOUD adds in my face, you just lost a sale.
Excellent approach to learning the entire fretboard. Takes time as theres no shortcuts to sight reading but this app definitely helps.
The best Ap Ive seen and used to learn to read music and learn the fretboard. I downloaded the free version and ended up buying the full version within 20 minutes. Try it, you will love it!
Really annoying ads.
Really helpful app to remember fretboard
This is an outstanding app. It gives you the luxury of practice and memorisation through repetition and reinforcement. Much like what flash cards use to do. I use it everywhere and with my guitar as well. It truly is what I was searching for.
Ive been playing classical guitar for 3 years and struggle with my reasoning skills beyond the first position. This is the first too I have found that really helps me solidify those skills. I use it mostly in "training" mode so I have to choose the note written on the register just like when Im actually reading music. I usually limit the range to a few frets. I appreciate that the previous note ant the current note are both shown on the staff to help with interval training and like hearing the pitch as well. My one recommendation would be to allow a change in the fret markers to match my (and most other) classical guitar - a single marker in fret seven. The other markers just make me confused. Thanks for the helpful app!
...but the control buttons get in the way of the answer buttons, which in of themselves are too small. That, and any one looking at the fretboard with the guitar in her or his hands will see the fretboard in the opposite direction, so the app presents the fretboard essentially upside down, and the app offers no way to switch this. However, this app is better than all of the others Ive tried, especially because it allows the user to select the tuning for those of us who dont use standard tunings.
Nice app, ugly interface. The menus feel really cheesy, could be made more professional. The app nonetheless is helpful, i learned from it rather easily. Additional modes and options would be nice, perhaps in an update. Works well though, accurate information, no crashes thus far.
This is a great and really useful app for beginners. The only thing which I would add is in training the other way around: trainer gives a note and you pick all possibilities. Would be great if that could be added too.
In two weeks Ive gone from guessing notes here and there to looking at the fretboard in a totally new way. Any guitarist that doesnt know the notes on the neck should use this app. Dedicate five to ten minutes a few times a day and you will see results quickly. Teachers should encourage students to download and use as part of lessons, too.
The app does a nice job of providing fun tools for learning chords and the fret board.
Ive had to start learning the actually notes ever since I joined jazz band at my school, and this really helps with the learning curve! The fact that it plays the note probably helps my ear too!
